Brody and Monika 6/16/07

Brody and Monika’s wedding was a refreshing change of pace. It took place on a horse farm about 20 minutes outside of Marion, Ohio, which for those that are not familiar with the area, is the middle of nowhere.

It was really cool to see the very eclectic crowd, ranging from Brooklyn, to California, to Poland and elsewhere converge on the little farm. The contrast of cultures was very fun to watch.

Both Monika and Brody where a lot of fun to shoot with their laid back personalities and fresh fashion sense. Doesn’t Monika look stunning in that veil?

Getting ready:

An Amish friend of the family offered to take Monika to the ceremony location on his horse drawn carriage.

The ceremony:

It’s not a farm wedding without some fun in the barn and out in the pastures.

The farm.

Some friends from Brooklyn.

To finish off the night, a band of marauding…uh…”pirates” kidnapped Monika and Brody, threw them in a limo, and took them up to Port Clinton to finish off the night by a campfire with close friends and family.
