Little Ezra and big sister Rochelle

by Genevieve ~ July 27th, 2007. Filed under: Personal.

First off, I need to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers, well wishes, congratulations, offer for help and understanding we’ve received in the past month. It means so much to get that kind of support when going through rough times and we wouldn’t have made it as well as we have if it wasn’t for so many friends and God.

Thankfully we are over the rough part. Ezra is doing better everyday. It’s amazing the rapid changes he is going through. He still has some fattening up to do and in the meantime he is being well taken care of at Akron City’s NICU. We get to see Ezra daily but the drive is getting old so we hope he gets better fast and can go home with us soon.

Here are some photos of our recent hospital visits: Ezra.

I am also doing better everyday. I can’t wait to get back to photographing weddings. It feels like an eternity since I’ve held a camera. I feel like a child awaiting Christmas day and it’s been a good reminder of how much I love what I do.

I must also thank James for stepping up to the plate. He’s been amazing with Rochelle, taking care of our home and photography while I’ve been out of commission. What an fantastic husband I have!

Also since it’s been a while, I thought I would post some photos of Rochelle. Here she is in her room playing kitchen or pretending to work her laptop like Mom and Dad.

Yes Rochelle sucks her thumb

Outside for some pool fun. Helping Dad blow up the pool.

Rochelle is such a blast. She certainly keeps Mom and Dad entertained.

Gotta love this outfit Grandma sent from France. Check out the cool shoes:

Isn’t she just adorable?
