Mike and Cheri 8/11/07
by Genevieve ~ August 14th, 2007. Filed under: Cleveland Weddings, wedding. It turns out that a morning ceremony combined with an evening reception makes for a really long day, but the time was well spent with Mike and Cheri and their entourage of no less than 18 bridesmaids and groomsmen this past Saturday. We arrived at Cheri’s parents house bright and early to get the prep stuff, then off we went to St. Columbkille Church for an 11:30 ceremony.

With a healthy four hours to kill before the reception, we trotted our way across greater Cleveland beginning at the Hyatt Old Arcade where we made good use of the Art Deco surroundings.
From there we headed to the Cleveland Museum of Art which happens to be a very popular place for wedding parties.
Why is there a photo of a fire truck in a wedding blog?

I’m glad you asked! Mike, as well as several of the groomsmen, serve as firefighters in their community. The boys down at the station seemed to be in pretty good spirits, so they pulled a truck out for us to play with.
From there, off we went to Casa di Borally for a night of Italian food served family style, and fantastic entertainment provided by TKO Entertainment.
