One of our images got the attention of the judges over at the Wedding Photojournalist Association for one of their quarterly contests; so much so that they ranked it number seven in its category. Whohoo!
Thanks to the White Flower Cake Shoppe for supplying a gorgeous collection of “mini-cakes” for us to photograph.

had a really, really tough time narrowing things down to just a dozen images from Brian and Amanda’s wedding this past Saturday. With 24 bridal party members and lots of family, there was just a lot going on at any given moment. One thing that made the day a lot of fun is that we got to work with our favorite videographers and good friends Brian and Susy Morris from 2nd Mile Productions. Brian put did one of his now famous “Same Day Edits” which basically amounts to a suicide editing session between the ceremony and reception in order to a have four minute video recap for the reception. It was the first time we got to see one, and I must say, it was amazing. You can see what they put together on his blog here:

This time instead of capturing some quick photos of him behind the mixer, we decided to schedule a photo session as a gift for his wife [...]

We’ve been looking forward to Jenn and Ollie’s wedding since we did their engagement photos and saw Ollie’s contagious smile. Of course he did not disappoint on the big day. There were some tears too but they were of happiness so of course we captured them.
Jennifer got ready with her ladies at the Renaissance.
She and [...]

Damon and Carrie officially got married last weekend up in Michigan, but we had the pleasure of shooting their Ohio reception this weekend at The Conrad Botzum Farm situated in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Damon and Carrie are actually good friends of ours as were a good number of the guests which made for a very fun, enjoyable, and relaxing day of shooting.
