What a weekend last weekend was. The Sunday after Dan and Christie’s wedding, we headed back up to Beachwood to join Kevin and Isabel for the wedding at Landerhaven. It was obvious that both Kevin and Isabel have highly developed senses of style and aesthetics, which carried over to many parts of their wedding from Kevin’s suit, to the table decor, the cake and many others. I think the Rabbi nailed it when he could tell that Isabel had chosen the cup used in the ceremony because it “had her grace about it.”

o much to blog, so little time. After two engagement sessions on Friday, we headed up to Kirkland, Ohio to celebrate the wedding of Daniel and Christie at the Mooreland Mansion on Saturday. We always have a great time shooting at the mansion, and Dan and Christie made it especially easy for us. We love it when couples give us some time to play and experiment without being on a super time crunch, which happens from time to time. Dan and Christie were both very comfortable in front of the camera, and even more importantly, were very comfortable with each other.

Jeff and Natalie’s relationship stretches back to their high school days at Chagrin Falls where they met and fell in love. The football field, her locker where Jeff had scribbled some “Jeff loves Natalie” graffiti and the band room all played especially significant roles in the formative years of their relationship. When we were working with Al and Jodi to figure out where to do their engagement session, they mentioned that they loved movies, and often went to the Canton Palace Theatre together to see them.  Perfect!  We both new that’s exactly where we should do their session.

The Mintus family is eagerly waiting the arrival of the newest member of the family, Mom probably more than little Rylee. I’m guessing she’s in for a big surprise once the baby comes along and she no longer gets all of Mom and Dad’s attention.

Friends and Family traveled great distances to join David and Tricia for their wedding at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church here in Canton, Ohio. I think Tricia explained the day quite well when right before the ceremony, she told me about her wedding: “Simple execution – that’s all we need; simple execution”. Well, simple execution is what she got. There weren’t a lot of embellishments for her wedding day, just ample amounts of what really mattered to Tricia and David – relationships and togetherness. That, I can respect.

I met Kari a couple years ago when she had me photograph her Aunt and Mom as a birthday present. Back then, I already knew she was a fun and caring person. Chad is such an amazing complement to her. If I’ve ever fallen in love with a couple, this would probably be them.

Sometimes choosing favorites for the blog can be a challenge because of how many images I like. It was the case again for these and because some images are truly meant for his eyes only.

Congrats to Tom and Eleni on their fabulous and very well attended Greek wedding here in Canton, Ohio. This was our second wedding at St. Haralambos and it is fast becoming one of our favorite places to shoot in Canton. The altar is beautiful and the architecture makes it very unique. Once we were finished at the Church, we all headed over to Skyland Pines Country Club for photos and the party where the Stigma band provided the entertainment.
