This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of taking part in Alison and Austin’s wedding at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. Austin did his best to warn us about their bridal party because evidently, Austin had accumulated years worth of payback in the form of pranks, jokes, and stunts during social events and there was a good chance that there were some who would be looking to settle some old scores. Nothing got too out of hand, thankfully, but seeing their friend and family dressed up as Austin and Alison in childhood photographs was pretty funny!

We incorporated some of items of significance in her session: favorite swing set near Hoover High School, softball uniform, championship ring, natural beauty and a great smile. All those items create a recipe for great senior photos that are genuine.

We are overdue on lots of different sessions but I would like the spread them out a little.
First up Todd and Tonya’s bridal or trash the dress session or just all around fun photo session. This couple hired us after being disappointed with their wedding photos that were taken only a few months ago. Stories like theirs brake my heart because I believe each couple deserves wonderful wedding photos.

Brent and Beth were blessed with an absolutely perfect day for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Fieldcrest of North Canton. Luckily, Brent and the guys were smart enough to avoid black tuxedos which led to a lot less sweating compared to most outdoor cermonies. Good call, guys! We had a lot of fun with their engagement session earlier this summer which really made us look forward to their wedding.

Hey Everyone,
We really need your help again! The voting is on over at MyFox Cleveland to name the best wedding photography studio in Cleveland. Last year, with the help of all of you, we made it to number two. It’s not like us to ever really be content with where we are, we want to [...]

Ok, so we’re a little late getting this post up. Being without power since Sunday has really been a drag but we’re going to try to keep plugging away anyway.
Lisa and Ed originally planned to be married back in April but at some point over the winter, they decided they didn’t want to wait that long and decided to elope in Key West. They still wanted to celebrate with their friends and family so they planned this “night of merry making” at the Pine Lake Trout Club in Chagrin Falls, Ohio just for that purpose.

Well, the remnants of Ike really had it’s way with our power grid here in Northeast Ohio, and it looks like we might be without power for several days. Obviously, this will throw a major wrench in our post production schedules so those of you who’s weddings we have shot recently, or if you are [...]

I love taking photos. I love to travel. I love Chicago. I love meeting couples and finding out more about who they are and how they click together. I love couples who let their guard down so I capture “them”. So by association I love Brian and Kelly since they embodied everything I just mentioned.

We’ve known Brian and Kelly since they hired us for their wedding almost 5 years ago. We had a blast at their wedding and enjoy hearing from them time to time so we were thrilled to hear they were expecting their first, a boy. As with their wedding photos, they were willing to try just about anything for the maternity photos (thanks Brian for taking your shirt off). I think the results speak for themselves:

Hey Everyone,
We don’t do this very often but we got an amazing e-mail from Megan this morning after she got a chance to check out her wedding images for the first time. (You can check out the blog post from her wedding here: Matt and Megan’s wedding )
“Wow wow wow, just WOW. I had some [...]

I’ve been looking forward to Michael and Lindsay’s wedding a little while now. One reason: Lindsay is the cousin of two other couples we photographed so we knew there would be familiar faces and that we would have a great time. Reason two: Michael is from France so I’d have the opportunity to speak french with him and his family. Reason three: they loved the idea of using industrial backgrounds for photos and scoped out places for us. What’s not to love about this couple?

While it might seem early to be thinking about the holidays, it will be here before you know it. We would like to encourage everyone who is thinking of giving photos as Christmas presents to book their photo sessions now!

About one month ago, I asked by Pink Papaya Events if I would consider photographing an Emerald wedding anniversary at Oakwood Country Club. While this was a little outside of what I typically do, I am always willing to try something new. I loved the idea of photographing a couple still in love after 55 [...]

Erin and Ely’s wedding at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio was a beautifully intimate event with friends and family from both near and far (in some cases, very far) in attendance. Ely has a very interesting job as an editor for 20th Century Fox cutting together previews and trailors for major motion pictures. It was great to see how they worked that into a theme for the wedding with the props for the place card table and centerpieces.
