Rob and Jessica’s wedding in Akron, Ohio
Rob and Jessica’s wedding on Friday was the fourth and final installment in the results of our 2008 Free Wedding Photography Essay Contest. With the help of the very talented and gracious photographers Andrew Jordan and Tom Forrest, we were able to get free coverage for all four of our finalists! So far, we’ve seen Scott and Christina, Aaron and Madeline, and Sean and Tabitha.
For Rob and Jessica’s wedding, Tom Forrest took the lead and I (James) tagged along to cover the guys and offer second-shooting/moral support for Tom. It was an especially interesting day because it turns out that a good number of the groomsmen and some guests were old family friends that I hadn’t seen in a very long time. I didn’t know we knew so many of the same people! We’ll here’s sampling of what I got. I mostly covered Rob and the guys so if you want to see the “other” half of the coverage, you’ll have to stay tuned to Tom’s blog.
Rob told me that he had ridden his motorcycle to every wedding he had ever been in I was glad he didn’t make an exception for his own wedding.
Does the ring feel a little funny, Rob? Don’t worry, you’ve lots of time to get used to it.
