Mark and Lori’s wedding at the Cleveland Renaissance Grand Ballroom

by James ~ February 17th, 2009. Filed under: Cleveland Weddings.

As the details started to come about Mark and Lori’s wedding at the Renaissance in downtown Cleveland, we knew it was going to be an interesting day.  It’s not every weekend that we see a couple succeed in putting together such a strong team of wedding professionals together.  Everything from the catering management and staff, the event coordination, floral decor, event lighting, videography, cake, and entertainment was handled by some of the area’s best in the business, and we were happy to be a part of the team.  Here are some of our favorite images from the day.

I loved the unique bead work running down the back of Lori’s Ines Di Santo designed dress.

Entertainment was combination of The Avenue for live music and DJ Scott Jones from Jerry Bruno Productions

As an admirer of fine watches, I certainly took notice of the beautiful IWC Portuguese that Mark wore for the wedding.  The plan is to put it away for safe keeping after the wedding and let his son, Matt, wear the watch on his wedding day.

Lori’s subtle nod to the fact that she had a valentine’s day wedding was to have red soled shoes, which was the only red element of the whole day.

Cameo time.

The last phase of the wedding was to open up the back of the ballroom which was set up and decorated like a nightclub or lounge so that the party could go on well after the band had packed up and left.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Eileen Benson and her staff for pulling everything together so tightly and helping everything to run so smoothly.  You guys were great to work with.

Finally, to Mark and Lori, thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding and congratulations from both of us!
