C.C. and Kevin’s wedding at Blue Canyon

by James ~ April 27th, 2009. Filed under: Cleveland Weddings, Personal.

I’m writing this blog post while sitting outside enjoying the last of an absolutely beautiful day here in Northeast Ohio. I saw on facebook a little bit ago that C.C. and Kevin are enjoying the sun in Riviera Maya (be sure to wash your hands a lot), so glasses up, guys!

Kevin and C.C.’s wedding was a little different for us in that the ceremony started at 10:00AM followed by a brunch reception at the Blue Canyon restaurant. This didn’t leave much time between the ceremony and the reception, so C.C. and Kevin scheduled several hours for the four of us to roam around Cleveland after the reception for photos. This made for a relaxing afternoon with plenty of time to hit some of C.C.’s favorite spots as well as ours.

This was also our first time working with some really great vendors as well. Heidi from Heidzillas handled the day-of coordination duties with an ease that is almost spooky, while Tina and the girls from Prestige Floral provided an awesome array of floral decoration for the day.

Here are some of Genevieve’s favorite images from the day:

C.C. surprised Kevin with a WWE themed cake that he absolutely loved. I heard him saying later in the day that it was a shame that they were going to have to eat it, and he wishes he could find some way to just preserve it. Well, we’ll do our best to preserve it in photographic form, but beyond that…

Just wow, you two. I didn’t see with my own two eyes in the moment half as amazing as you’ve captured their day on film. Just wow. BEAUTIFUL beautiful photos of a beautiful wedding.

Wow! You guys did a fabulous job (as we knew you would)! It was fun to see some of the things that we didn’t get to see that day. Can’t wait to see all of them come back. Kevin says he didn’t realize anyone could actually make him look good. Thanks for everything!

Great work. Props to CC and Kevin for having so many cool locations and characters in their story. I particularly love the blurry people at the market, the moose shot and the flarey shot at the barn. The barn shot is epic, it belongs on the wall!
