Ryan and Shona’s wedding at Fellows Riverside Garden in Youngstown
Ryan and Shona’s wedding had a lot of things going for it: beautiful weather, a great location with a ton of variety, a bride with a very strong design sense and a groom with a great sense of humor who together make a couple who are totally into each other. We had some time before the ceremony to shoot so we wound our way from South to North through the Mill Creek Park system stopping off at some very cool locations and ending at Fellows Riverside Gardens where the ceremony and reception would later take place. We had a lot of fun with Shona and Ryan throughout the day and it seemed like they really enjoyed themselves too.
Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Ryan’s secret weapon; the three howling wolf head t-shirt with well documented mystical powers which you can read about at length here. I’m pretty sure that the moon even glows in the dark. If it doesn’t, it should.

Here’s a sight that we got to see a lot of throughout the day. Within minutes of walking into the room we were all beside ourselves with laughter which really set the tone of the rest of the day. I have a feeling that Ryan makes friends everywhere he goes.

Ryan’s reaction upon seeing Shona for the first time.

Ryan has had this bottle of Dom Perignon in his cellar for four years waiting for the right occasion to break it out. The occasion couldn’t be more right.

Genevieve’s favorite images.

Shona’s extensive experience designing bank interiors got put on display here in the ballroom at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

I love Shona’s idea of hanging the place cards on twine stretch between to candles.
