I had an fabulous time photographing Renee and Chad for their engagement session in Akron. Chad wasn’t sure what an engagement photos consist off but I think he did great job.

Caroline and Andrew’s wedding took place at one of my all time favorite ceremony spots; a quaint little white chapel nestled within the outdoor, living museum of Hale Farm and Village. Because the village and all of the remaining structures throughout the village have been so maintained and protected by the Western Reserve Historical Society, you really have to look hard for anything that would tip you off to the fact that it’s not currently mid 1800’s. Throw in some amazing fall colors, and you have something really special. We might have had to dodge a few rain drops, but all in all, the day went superbly well. The reception followed at the almost as beautiful (almost, that is) Portage Country Club in nearby Akron.
So often, us photographers with kids neglect to turn the camera on ourselves or to ask a fellow photographer to take our portraits. This was an option to remedy this. All photographers participating were then asked to photograph another family.
All these family portraits were taken in Akron, Ohio.
It’s hard to believe the Holidays are less than 2 months away! Another year has flown by but it’s not too late to schedule a portrait session. For anyone that books their portrait session with us between November 1st and 30th, we will include 23 folded Christmas cards (a $100 value). Be sure to contact us ASAP to schedule your session.
Here is our fourth and final installment of our trip to France. We had a great time seeing amazing landscapes, stunning stone buildings and stroll one of my favorite cities in the world: Paris! It’s even more fun to see the city at night with the lights everywhere.
Here is the Nisly take on a photobooth from Dean and Katie’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency:

These were a blast!
Despite not meeting Katie until days before her wedding, I already had a sense of her personality and taste. It seemed obvious from our exchanges that Dean and Katie would have a fabulous wedding at the Cleveland Hyatt Regency. The day, the couple, the decor and the large bridal party certainly lived up and exceeded our expectations of a festive, old Hollywood and glamorous wedding. Not only was the couple game for various off the beaten path locations, they allotted over 4 hours of creative time to capture the images. We enjoyed having all that time to be artistic and diverse which should be obvious in the images below.
When Mitch was thinking about his senior photo session, he knew he wanted to do something different from his classmates at Perry High School. The word plane came up since his family owns a hanger near a small airport south of Canton. Who were we to say no? I am so glad we were able to create some fun and unique images for Mitch’s senior session that capture who he is.
From the great location at Hillbrook, the 1950’s inspired bridesmaids dresses, Chuck Taylor All Stars, the bicycles, the beautifully whimsical cakes, and of course, Jimmy and Becci themselves, there was just so much to love about Saturday’s wedding. Being that Jimmy is the current manager and grandson of the founder of Eddy’s Bike Shop, the best bike stores in Ohio (as recent customers, Genevieve and I can vouch for this), bicycles are a big part of their lives. As a wedding present, Jimmy gave Becci the beautiful townie (which Becci had already given a name) that you will see in the images below.
We had the pleasure of photographing John and Laurie’s wedding some three and a half years ago. I was so happy to hear the good news that they had since had a little boy Liam and wanted us to capture their growing family. We waited until Liam was 3 months old and showed some personality to schedule the family session at their home near Cleveland.
