With Kim living in New York and Grace in Chicago, Cleveland is not only this couple’s wedding location but the perfect central location. This couple dressed it up for their classy engagement session. That purple dress is stunning on Grace and I might just have to get one for myself. Just because they were wearing more formal attire doesn’t mean that Kim and Grace take themselves seriously. I know we’ll have some good laughs at their wedding and am greatly looking forward to it.

Every detail of this wedding was perfectly in order thanks to the tremendous passion and talent exhibited by Joe Mineo and staff from Something New Florist. Joe has been good friends with Aileen’s family for years, so Joe was the first person that Aileen called to get the wedding planning going. After seeing Joe in full wedding-planner/day-of coordinator action, we can easily see why he is considered one of the very best in the region.

L’Nique recently hosted a one of a kind wedding industry event. This extravagant and delectable evening which showcased some amazing Cleveland Ohio talent was intended for wedding professionals instead of brides. The networking event was a huge success.

I experienced another first in terms of photography last week: capturing a proposal. For those that know me, I’ve been pretty vocal about wanting to capture a proposal. I just couldn’t find a boyfriend willing to let me in on his proposal plans…until Paul.

It happened again, a photographer asked us to photograph him and his family. This time I was a little less nervous that we were being trusted to photograph another photographer’s family. It probably helped that it Joshua J Wood and that his wife and daughters are fun and laid-back.

Graham and April had the pleasure of welcoming little Violet into the world recently. This precious girl posed like a charm for her first newborn portraits. It was also the first time I was able to photograph 4 generations of one family in a single portrait. It was a pleasure to see all the ladies bonding and ooohing over baby Violet. Can’t wait to see who she takes after.
