After a whirlwind romance, Kelsey and Will planned a fabulous July wedding just 9 short months after her sister’s wedding. They wed at the Country Club in Pepper Pike with a ceremony at St Christopher’s in Gates Mills. While the weather was not ideal, the couple braved it for a first glance and some outside photos before the ceremony. It was amazing to witness how close knit Kelsey and Will are with their families.
Carla and Anthony’s wedding was unique in a number of ways. From the backyard, lakefront ceremony location, to the boat ride to the reception at the Great Lakes Science Center, and the chemistry themed reception decor, there was a lot to take notice of. But even with all the trappings, what stood out most of all was Carla and Anthony’s love of each other, family, and life. If, at any point, something about the wedding stressed them, they certainly didn’t let on to it. As you can see from the images below, it doesn’t look like there was a moment taken for granted.
When Lauren and Llew first contacted us from New York City about photographing their wedding, none of us had any idea that by the time their wedding came around, they would be living in Akron just a few minutes away. Comparatively speaking, we’re neighbors now! The ceremony took place at the grandest of all Cleveland locations for a Catholic ceremony; St John’s Cathedral on East 9th. Llew was a member at the Cathedral when he lived in Cleveland while attending Case which is where Llew and Lauren met, so the Cathedral was a very fitting location for them to get married.
We make an effort to capture our children for each of their birthdays and this year we brought Ezra to the studio. He was ecstatic to have the studio to himself with mom and dad’s undivided attention.
Brandi and Michael had a plan specific idea for their engagement session: a fashion and speakeasy inspired photoshoot around Cleveland. We love trying out new ideas and this was no different. While their engagement session took a little more planning than normal, the results were very much worth it. Wonder how we’re going to top this at their wedding but we’ll think of something.
Chris and Angela wed at Walden Inn with a party I’m sure guests will remember for years to come! Thanks for having us photograph your wedding. It was a real treat.
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Scott and Jenni in downtown Cleveland for a very windy engagement session. Luckily, we found just enough breaks in the wind to get some great images of the two of them together.
