2008 has turned out to be quite an amazing year for us at Genevieve Nisly Photography and 2009 is looking quite promising as well despite all of the economic turmoil. Just when I thought God couldn’t bless us anymore, He goes does just that: a thriving business that we can barely keep up with, loving friends and family, healthy and adorable kids, an amazing spouse who challenges me every day to be a better person and the list goes on.

While we have four couples that made it to finalist, all of them will also be winners. How is that possible you might ask. Here is the reason why: someone amazing photographer friends Andrew Jordan and Tom Forrest have offered to cover the weddings we can not. Can you believe that? I am so humbled [...]

This was a very tough decision. We received so many wonderful entries from Moms, sisters, a boss, friends and of course brides and grooms-to-be. Most of the entries were for dates we are already booked but we received several for dates we do have open.
